I had previously purchased a 3D model to modify and print to fit my Cardo Freecom 4X to my helmet. However after tweaking it and printing it several times I found it to be a pretty poor fit.

Then after some searching I found mentions of Tubs Jackson and his Cardo mounts. After seeing some good feedback on various social sites I decided to bite the bullet and order one up.

Delivery was pretty quick considering it was the Christmas period, and upon opening I was surprised by how good a quality it felt for being a 3D print. Then came the ultimate test...."does it fit the helmet?". I was a bit tentative as my experience of 3D prints is that anything that needs to flex is often the weak point, so I was happy to see it clipped into place with no issues at all.

Finally found some time to fit the Cardo itself to the helmet and get it wired in, and the Cardo bracket clips onto the Tubs mount with a satisfying click and feels pretty sturdy with minimal flex when pressing the buttons.

I've seen some people comment about these mounts being expensive. Personally, I think they are reasonably priced as you have to factor in the time and skills required to design the parts, as well as the cost of the print itself.

If I was to have one criticism, it would be that for the Freecom mounts, I would have liked the bracket angled upwards slightly at the rear so that the base of the Cardo sat level with the bottom of the helmet, and maybe a small clip to hold the wires, as the wires stick out a bit beneath the bottom of the helmet. Minor niggle though.

Overall, a great design and I would recommend it to anyone wanting to mount a Cardo to their lid.

So far, this seems like a very durable product and the fit and finish is great. I've only been on one ride, but the location and operation of my Cardo Packtalk Bold is very similar to when it was mounted on my original Neotec. TUBS is the best mounting solution I've seen for these helmets with brand specific comm mounts (SENA). I will buy again if the need arises.

I was sick of double sided tape to hold my comms in place. In the heat they soften and fall off. Here is a well designed product that fits correctly and should offer years of service. Fits in seconds and simply works.

So far so good. The Mount fit my new Neotec 3 nicely. Still waiting on my order from Cardo for 2nd helmet kit to install the unit. By the look and feel of this mount, I'm sure it will be a nice set up.

Device looked like the real deal. Unfortunately I never had the chance to install and use… unfortunately my home was completely destroyed in the Altadena, Eaton fires. If God is willing…I’ll try it again when I replace my bikes and a new helmet.

Best solution out there for mounting cardo on Shoei helmet. Period.

For this type of helmet, the neo tech three helmet. It’s really not designed for Cardo intercom systems. The tech three was especially designed for Sena communication systems, which I do not prefer. I was looking for a clean look to mount my Neo Tech 3 helmet, and Tubs Jackson and his design was the only amount that I can find for my cardo that fits my neo tech 3 helmet. The product is made with good quality and very sturdy. I don’t have to worry about doing 80 miles per hour on the freeway and it blowing off. I am truly happy with this product. Great job Tubs Jackson. Thank you very much.

Fits perfectly and avoids the need to stick anything onto the helmet. Only suggestion I have to improve the product further is perhaps add a small clip to hold and protect the intercom wires as the pass on the underside lip of the helmet- like the Cardo do on the mounts they offer for the more expensive models.

It's very tight, and it fits the latch on the helmet so you don't have to worry about it coming loose.

Fits great on my neotec 3, feels like it's well made and has survived the first highway test with many more to come🤞

Easy install on Neotec III. Puts the unit in easy reach unlike the glue strip I used on my two prior Neotecs that required the Cardo unit to be mounted farther to the rear of the helmet. Seems sturdy too.
